In 2014 BMA realized the offices for Storage Associati, in their HeadQuarter in via Panfilo Castaldi, Milan. It was Storage Associati itself to cooperate with BMA - Italian Contract and furniture in designing its offices.
THE PROJECT
Storage Associati's new offices extend on a 116m2 plan, with a 45m2 mezzanine.
Storage Architects decided to use an opaque sheet of natural iron, joined to the brass sheet (not painted, in order to allow the oxidation process) that covers all the furniture and the kitchen.
Iron and brass sheets were chosen even for coatings of mezzanines (in particular the walking surfaces and the ceiling), cut to measure through the creation of special templates.
THE CLIENT
The architecture studio Storage Associati was founded in 2001 by the architects Barbara Ghidoni, Michele Pasini and Marco Donati, graduates from the Politecnico di Milano.
The studio began to grow and collaborate with other professionals on various kinds of projects, from shops to homes, exhibition stands and renovations.
The studio is now working with several architects and designers. Among the major Storage Associati's projects we can mention several realizations for Premiata, Antonioli, Dsquared, Roberto Cavalli and other important maisons. Many projects of the Milanese studio were published in international industry magazines.
