Technical Team

Design, planning and engineering, all within BMA.

It is probably the sector in which companies focus the greatest efforts and make the biggest commitments to keep up with the evolution of the market. Drawing strength from extensive experience gained in the field, the technical team is able to deal with any type of furniture they come up against. With a department of 10 people including architects, engineers and designers, we develop projects from the feasibility study to estimates, and from design to engineering. To complete this company asset, BMA Italian Contract & Furniture employs a motivated group of commercial and logistical technicians who are able to accompany customers step by step, from the first meeting to the final arrangement, coordinating the construction phases and supervising installation, in any part of the world.

Our goal is to respect delivery times by dedicating the utmost attention to every single detail of the executive phase, while ensuring that the budgeted costs are met.

We design with innovative software

The design department is assisted by three-dimensional IT technologies, and BMA has recently adopted the use of TopSolid, software that combines innovation and technology. It can be used for mathematics and geometry, mechanics and material science (metal, sheets, wood and plastic), computer science, high level ergonomics and process engineering.

It is produced by Missler Software, a leading company in the development of CAD/CAM/PDM/ERP software. Strengthened by 30 years of experience.

TopSolid'Wood is the only integrated CAD/CAM software package specially developed to meet the needs of the wood industry.

Projects designed to be built: TopSolid'Wood's specific functions integrate machining issues on the 3D model, right from the modeling phase. "Design to build". These specialist functions can also be finely customized for a precise and effective adaptation to the various manufacturing processes.

Build on your know-how: the configuration and associativity of TopSolid'Wood enable you to make the most of your everyday work.

Total associativity between design and production

The CAM software recognizes the operations made on the parts in CAD (calibration, grooving, rabetting, drilling, molding, pocketing, etc.)

Automatic creation of tools in the CAM database, according to their CAD definition.

Correlation between the materials defined in CAD and the database of CAM tools, for automatic and precise settings of the cutting conditions.

Complete associativity between the model defined in CAD and the preparations in CAM
