GUEST PROJECT: Burro e Salvia restaurant in London

Elips Design study presents their last project in London: Burro e Salvia a restaurant-pasta shop realized following the concept of simplicity, as the title says, in order to make feel to customers the experience of tasting pasta on take away or purchase.

THE PROJECT
Burro e Salvia is a restaurant-pasta shop situated in the heart of London and it has been construed on two floors: on the basement one there’s a kitchen, a warehouse and a small office, while the ground floor has been dedicated to customers and for the taste of pasta.
The part dedicated for the shop is divided in two sections, one for the take away pasta, and the other for customers who want to consume pasta in the shop.
The bench have been realized and exposed like a piece of art in a museum in order to catch the attention of pedestrians. Tables and chairs used are characterized by the typical vintage style of fifties.
The shop has more than 20 covers and four seats at the bar area put near a pasta machine in order to make customers feel like at home.
